You are invited to "Sing the Sacred Story" this October 6-15!
Celebrate the new Community of Christ hymnal on a memorable trip across the Midwest and into upstate New York. Sing the historic hymns inspired by the various stops along the "Restoration Trail." Hear the stories behind our treasured hymnody and learn many of the exciting tunes featured for the first time in Community of Christ Sings!
Highlights of the Sing the Sacred Story Tour Include
Highlights of the tour experience include evening worship at the Kirtland Temple and Plano Stone Church, a walk through the sacred grove at the peak of fall foliage season, hymn festival at the Red Brick Store, and a visit to Joseph Smith III's Liberty Hall. Throughout the journey, Barbara Walden, Foundation executive director and co-author of the book, Community of Christ: An Illustrated History, will lead a variety of history classes, emphasizing the origins of many hymns and giving tour guests an inside view of Community of Christ history as it relates to each significant site on the trip. In addition to Community of Christ historic sites, tour guests will visit a number of museums and landmarks along the way like the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Hancock Shaker Village, and Niagara Falls.

$1,375 per/person for a double-occupancy room
$1,875 per/person for a single-occupancy room
Tour price includes luxury bus transportation (from Community of Christ Temple in Independence, MO), hotel lodging each night, all admission fees, and most meals.
