When President Veazey introduced the Enduring Principles a few years ago, he was not only introducing a new concept, he was reminding Community of Christ members of their continuing call to live out the basic tenets of our faith community. As each of the Enduring Principles were introduced and shared at reunions, retreats, and mission center conferences, members of the church history team found themselves hearkening back to examples from the church's past where each of the principles were lived out, experienced, and embraced by early members of our faith community.
